As someone in her 50s I was somewhat nervous about trying singing lessons. Singing on my own in front of someone is a bit daunting especially as I knew the noise I made wasn't great - I said to Daniel that my goal (his challenge) was that I just wanted to make a nicer sound when singing! I needn't have worried as I knew at the end of the first lesson that he was the teacher for me. He has given me so much self confidence, improved the quality of my singing, taught me how to breathe properly and is, quite frankly, a superb teacher. I should say perhaps that in the past I have played other instruments and worked with many professional musicians during my career so I know a good teacher when I see one. I would thoroughly recommend Daniel as a teacher whatever standard you are at - I will never sing at the Royal Opera House, but he makes me feel like I could which gives me the confidence to love singing even more!
