    I first came into contact with Dan Newman personal trainers in March 2016 after feeling a need to make some big personal improvements. I wasn't a stranger to the local gym however I felt I lacked direction and motivation when there and needed something extra. After walking in and arranging a meeting with Dan Newman himself it was all go from there- Dan was very quick to put me at ease and I could feel immediately that I was in the hands of a dedicated professional. Not only did Dan help me change my way of thinking on diet and fitness, he also helped motivate me through some of the toughest times during my self improvement journey - and this I feel was paramount to the ongoing success I achieved with him. Whilst working out I have never felt unsafe or pushed to dangerous limits - Dan is extremely vigilant and pays very close attention to making sure that you will not be injured whilst in his company. On a few occasions when I felt willing to push further he stopped me on safety grounds - I respected this and most of all appreciated his honest and level headed approach. Being personally trained is about pushing limits but most of all remaining safe. I have always enjoyed the equipment Dan's gyms have to offer and love the vibe when I'm there - it's safe to say that I've lost a lot of weight but gained friends in the process.     Hello everyone! I'm very excited to share my experience with you, I hope it will inspire you to change your life and get the right determination to see a real transformation both in your body and your mind! I started my journey with "Dan Newman Personal training" on the 26th January of this year, back then I use to weight 86kg, but my "life state" and attitude towards life were even heavier! So after many years of struggle, I finally decided it was time for me to get a valid help, a professional help to change my rooted "negative" habits and build a new knowledge and awareness to do so. Finally I met Dan and his team of wonderful people! Since the very first meeting, I could feel the profound compassion and professionalism that still inspire me today and that made me think : Finally I'm in the right place, what a relief! Together with Dan we build a plan based on my individual condition that would concern both my physical and psychological state! I was supported all along both with my exercise plan and my diet, and every week I could feel my body changing in a very healthy way, feeling empowered and never with a sense of starvation. A lot of " pains and aches" build up in the time have slowly but consistently faded away living place to energy and joy and to a new sense of determination and self esteem, and for this I will alway be very grateful to Dan and Frankie the PT that has followed me all along this path, as for today my body weight is 79kg! And if all of this it doesn't sound enough, I'm going to tell you about what really amazed me.. Towards the end, together with Dan we built an "exit plan" with plenty of information and exercises list to help me be successful even after my experience, how amazing is that?!?     I started training with DNPT in November 2019 and have not looked back. Prior to PT, I regularly attended the gym and did a number of group exercise classes but lacked the direction and motivation to improve my strength and push the boundaries. Initially feeling slightly apprehensive about training with a personal trainer, both Dan and Wynand put me completely at ease. Since then I've achieved personal bests and I'm stronger than I ever thought possible. During the last few weeks, since all other gyms have closed, DNPT have continued to provide support in the form of both an online platform and video training which is extremely motivational and well worth a try. The sessions have improved my stress levels, focus and above all are loads of fun. Thanks Dan and team for your innovative response to these challenging times.

    I started training with DNPT almost two years ago. My experience of training beforehand had been by myself on-and-off at various different gyms, doing the same routine. I reached out to Dan Newman at DNPT for an initial chat on the phone to discuss what personal training entails. We then met for a complementary face to face consultation where Dan spent time finding out about my past training history, diet, lifestyle, aims, goals. I also got the chance to ask questions about how the service is run and how it would benefit me. Dan presented me with a list of trainers who he felt would be suitable for me. I chose to go with a trainer named Craig. Craig is an excellent trainer. He pushes me in a safe way and is extemely knowledgable about all things fitness related. Most of all, Craig is professional in his approach, reliable and always in good spirit. He has motivated me to improve my strength, flexibility and overall health. The whole service is very well run. The co-ordinators (Jeremy, Conor, Jack) keep you informed of session changes and reply almost instantly to any requests. I train at the studio in Merton Abbey Mills. It is clean, has a good range of equipment and is a great space to get 1 on 1 coaching. I believe there are two other studios, also. If you are looking for a professional, reliable, personal training service to look after your fitness needs this is the service to use. Keep up the fantastic service Dan, Craig and the whole DNPT team.

    Top notch personal training!Jack T is an amazing PT , very patient and exactly what I was looking for! Love the sessions, so much fun you don't even realise that you are working hard and very much takes my back problems into account. Feel so much stronger already after only 2 weeks.     We started training with Dan Newman PT around 7 months ago and the experience has been top notch. Initially Dan sat with me and my partner to discuss our needs, past training, and what our goals were. He then matched us to a trainer (Manuel) who has been fantastic. Since joining the gym I have lost 12kgs in weight and I am back to the weight I wanted to be at. I will now continue to train with Manuel doing strength training and it's given me great confidence back in using the gym again. Thank you Dan, Manuel and all the team :)

    Dan met my husband and I for a lengthy introductory session to find out what it was that my husband and I needed. He was mindful of our busy schedules and our individual needs. Following this Dan sent us profiles of trainers who he felt would suit us. From the detailed profiles we felt Dusan was the perfect fit. We trained at the Abbey Mills site. The gym had all the equipment needed for a good workout. It did get busy on Saturday mornings but that just gave us the opportunity to train outside in the summer. We trained with Dusan twice a week and saw great results. He knew how best to challenge us and helped us achieve goals we hadn't been able to meet in years.
