Dan is teaching my 8 year old drumming at a beginner level. The lessons are constructive, productive and fun. My son has autism and Dan expertly works with him such that he is making great progress and more importantly looks forward to his weekly lesson. First and foremost Dan is an excellent professional drummer with a varied repertoire and an ability to pass on his knowledge to others. His tuition drum kit is excellent as is the teaching room and he has used a range of different approaches to keep things fresh and progressing. My son particularly enjoys playing duo, with Dan accompanying on piano. As a teacher Dan is encouraging and considerate. As a parent I appreciate his flexibility and total reliability. I can thoroughly recommend Dan as a drum teacher.

I started learning how to drum with Dan about a month ago. He has been an absolute joy to work under, and is consistently reliable and patient. I struggle a lot with my confidence, and have always been a very quiet person, but Dan is taking it all in his stride and I always feel welcomed and under no pressure when I have my lessons. He tailors each lesson to suit the needs and wants of the client, and has an amazing in-depth understanding of drumming and music to guide you in the direction you want to go. Dan provides a warm, laid-back environment to work in, and is very easy to get along with. He can help you with anything; from choosing sticks to building your own kit, and guide you on appropriate literature and bands to look at. All in all, I thoroughly recommend Dan as an excellent drum tutor. His versatility will enable the best in you, and I can guarantee if you stick with him, you’ll make progress every time you go!
