The best damp proofing company around. So many companies just want your money and don’t explain what you need done and why. Damp Zone is the exception and are an amazing company. They are really knowledgable, really helpful and are so thorough with their work. I was particularly impressed by how tidy they leave your home are and also their attention to detail. Came out to have a look so they can give me a quote. The guy who came out Used a cheap moisture meter and poked it into the wall. It beeped and he told me I’ve got rising damp. No investigation no sample analysis, he was in and out in 5 mins. Advise you to do some research and get a proper damp surveyor who doesn’t do the actual work to get a proper report before under taking any work. Too many out there just wanna smash your plaster and inject your walls without knowing the proper cause or

We paid £180 for a damp survey as part of a set of pre purchase surveys recommended by our surveyors (who had already detected several areas with damp and woodworm presence). On the day booked they didn't show up for no reason (which of course was not well received by the property owner). On the next occasion, when they finally went to do the job they did it partially, they didn't check at all the areas of concern addressed already by the surveyors, and when asked about them they didn't respond any more on the phone nor to emails. On their assessment, they recommended damp proofing the walls and adding vents on each room but without addressing the causes of damp entering the property!!! When asked about the presence of woodworm they mentioned that the property owner told them that they had already treated the problem (but they didn't examined it that was solved!). So, my advice: save your money and get professionals instead.
