In my opinion avoid David Sumners of DPL at all cost. I wasted a lot of time trying to get hold of him. His cellar tanking on our property has failed, it came with a 10yr guarantee, but he is avoiding all my calls, emails and messages....I can even see he has read my messages too! I manage to speak to him once on the phone about a 3/4 weeks ago , I guess he thought I was a new client! So I know he is still around. He failed to mention his company was dissolved now, and when I mentioned that his tanking had failed he he was quick to terminate the conversation, and I haven’t heard from him since, despite numerous efforts to call him.

Avoid!!!! Cowboys... I paid David Sumner considerable money to damp proof a wall in my house and he said the work came with a guarantee. Well, i have phoned, emailed and have written and he doesn't answer. I wanted to offer him the opportunity to come back and put the work right but i looks like i will have to take him to court to cover another contractor doing it. Apparently this company was struck off in 2017!

Called them on a Friday, agreed that he would call me on Monday morning to arrange a time to come round to the property on the Monday or Tuesday. Sent him a text confirming such, and so that he also had my number. Monday morning came and went with no contact being made, called numerous times, no calls returned. Also texted asking if he was going to come the next morning. Tuesday late morning I gave him a call as I had heard nothing, finally got through, he said he thought we were meeting on Wednesday, told this was not the case and that he had been very elusive. He got annoyed and told me to find someone else and hung up. Unbelievably rude, do not use these guys. Cowboys.
