I was seen promptly and the dentist and assistant were very attentive. However, despite trying to make my bottom denture fit properly without making the underside of my tongue very sore, I have found I am still having a lot of painful discomfort in my gum now and the base seems too thick and does not lie flush with my gum making it feel uncomfortable and a mouthful. I am very disappointed again as my top denture is a bad fit as well. I have since returned to have my bottom denture fixed but it is not much better and my top denture does not fit flush with my gum and stores food inside thus making my gum sore. The denture also is out of line with my own teeth and I now have a middle gap too. I was given a prescription to deal with the soreness of both my tongue and upper gum. I can't stand anymore of this. Thankfully my dentist has now left and I am waiting for a replacement. I was told I will have to wait three months to get a replacement for my bottom denture by the stand in I saw on 26th May. This is the first time I have had a bad experience at the dentist. After my next visit on 18th August 2022 at 14.45pm I had a very nice female dentist and assistant. Everything was explained to me whilst a mould was taken of my top and bottom gums for new dentures. I left feeling hopeful that my new dentures will fit me perfectly. On 8th September I had an appointment to do the bite impression and have a third appointment on 29th September 1922 at which I pray both the dentures will fit perfectly. I hope I won't be disappointed again. The next time I visited in May 2023 for a check up I was given good advice to check first whether I can get help with my dental treatment as it would cost too much for me if I don't get it. I need a lot of work doing. In the meantime the charming dentist prescribed a special toothpaste for the hole in my tooth and an antiseptic mouthwash which were free due to my age. I am to make another appointment when I have sorted out this matter.
