HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! If anyone's lived in the middle east and craves a good shawarma, then look no further. Damascus has it all. Yousef has brought the authentic taste to Essex. Falafels are delicious too. Topped off by complimentary tea. What more can one ask for?..all halal.

Incredible, friendly and quick service. I visited today to get a falafel and halloumi wrap, the flavours were beautiful, great portion and the people serving me couldn't be more friendly! I was given a taster of the falafel which has to be the nicest falafel I've had in a long time as well as some traditional tea free of charge whilst I waited for my wrap. I will be stopping by regularly to try the other dishes on their menu!

As a vegan finding good food which is interesting can be difficult. I came across this gem in the market and was extrememly impressed. The food was excellent and the staff were wonderful. The only slight problem was the portion was too large but this was solved when they doggy bagged it. Can't recommend enough - brilliant
