  Daleysmove we’re our movers for our recent house move and they were fantastic from start to finish! The smooth booking process was super easy and I felt they were very attentive to our needs from the outset, checking on the details of the house and our packing essentials. On the day itself, Dave and Adrian arrived promptly and worked incredibly hard all day. They were very friendly and also efficient and had the van packed up in no time. They were incredibly patient when we had a bit of a wait to pick up the keys for our new house and unloaded with great care. No task was too difficult, even when we asked to fit a large fridge/freezer into a very small cellar opening! Amazing service- would definitely recommend!

  BEWARE -- This company arrived 2h 40 mins late for our house move, no courtesy call from anyone to say there was a problem. When we tried to ring them, nobody answered the phone, it just rang and rang, no staff on a Saturday it seems. No PPE, even though their own job sheet said 'FULL PPE' not a mask in sight. Very unorganised and rushed, due to them arriving so late I assume. Items were damaged, but unless you pay an extra £49 for additional insurance, it’s not covered. There were supposed to be 4 Wardrobe Cartons, there were none, 3 Mattress Bags, there were none, Sofa Bags provided, yep there were none, also 2 TV Protection Bags included in the quote, none again. 2 wardrobes sustained damage, our double mattress was dirty on arrival and a floor standing lamp had its base smashed. Daleysmove not prepared to accept any responsibility or offer any compensation. They are one of these companies that has an answer for everything if anyone tries to complain. Your website states: - 70+ years quality experience you can trust - We handle your effects with the upmost of care - We're here to make things simple and straightforward - We're probably the best move you'll ever make Unfortunately, they don't live up to their claims above, quite the opposite. Please don't be lead into a false sense of security by believing their website blurb. I have no reason to give negative feedback, except in the case of a poorly run company. Hopefully this will help someone make a better decision than we did. I work in a trusted position for the NHS and only leave reviews if a service is either excellent, or extremely poor. This company use a review site that they pay for, so if they get a negative review on there, they can have it removed. I would suggest anyone looking for a service like Daleysmove should check out Google reviews or other independent review sites, so they don't get stung. Service: Local moving

  Used Daleys previously and the delivery drivers were wonderful, this time we tried to get a quote for international removal and they dont even bother to respond despite chasing them numerous times. They never call back when they assure you that they will and show little interest. They sent us the quote for storage then left us chasing them for the removal quotes. After 5 promises to call us back we gave up and went elsewhere. If they dont want or cant handle the business then they need to say so and not mess people around

  This company lost and damaged so many items when they moved our furniture. Their internal investigation took over two months. They are a joke. Disgraceful communication, appalling service and run by a bunch of useless, untrained and totally incompetent staff who don't give a stuff. Oh, and no apology either. If you value your belongings give this bunch of cowboys a very wide berth. Services: Local moving, Moving-related storage

  Recently used daleys move. Although they could offer service without much notice and the lads who came to do the removal where nice enough, as the removal took longer than expected I noticed the lads started to rush the job. Which is understandable to an extent but not to lack in care for my items in the process. On the second trip for the last items of furniture I watched as they struggled to fit my dining table out the door of my old property. I asked would it not be better to remove the legs, where I was told no it will go through if we turn it around. As this was happening I was getting my parrot ready for the journey, but did notice it was looking like a struggle to get the table out. The lads reassured me it was fitting out and ok. On return to the new property one of the lads (not the one who had moved the table) approached my husband and said oh you know these Marks where already on the table dont you. I came over and me and my husband both said no they most certainly was not. It was a fairly new table that had cost alot of money so I know that nothing was damaged on the table. The guy who had removed it was stood very sheepish making little eye contact. I told the guys there and then to mark this on there form and that I was taking pictures while they was still present as three legs are damaged on my table and the top corner has been chipped away. Also noticed they did not put things down to protect carpets as I was told would happen on the phone at booking. First thing monday I rang to report this to my move manager. After not getting any calls back I have been ringing most days over the past 3 weeks. To either be told she is out of office and cannot help but will call me back or she would answer and then not call back with any updates as stated. Today I recieved an email (no call as I asked for) to say I didnt have additional item liability insurance but just the standard liability insurance with them. When booking and told I would have standard liability insurance I was under the impression this was to cover damages. But no, apparently I can only get £40 for the unrepairable damages to my new £900 table. The table the guys tried to get away with damaging. Still no call when I have rang to discuss this issue. So as of now I would give this service 1 star. Depending on if I get any response and the final outcome. Also none of the guys came with or wore a mask which was stated they would.
