Jim and Tonto the seagull kept us entertained during our boat journey to Skomer Island. Jim was so knowledgeable and you could tell he absolutely LOVED his job (and how could you not!!) The dale princess is the only way to get to Skomer Island and it is worth every penny! We saw SO many Puffins, and so much other amazing wildlife too! All the volunteers and boat crew were so lovely and all took the time to chat to you and tell you about the island! I would go back in a heartbeat and reccomend this trip to anyone who wants to see more of our beautiful wild isles 💕

We have done two trips with the Dale Princess team this week. A Skomer landing on Tuesday and the evening sea bird spectacular on Wednesday. Both incredible trips to a very special place. The boat is well kept and staff are very helpful. The team on the boat is safety conscious and always did an appropriate orientation when everyone was on board. The landing trip to Skomer was fantastic, but be warned that the walk is physically demanding. The sea bird spectacular cruise was totally out of this world. There were thousands upon thousands of puffins flying around the boat and swimming in the sea (we went in late April when the birds are nesting on eggs). We also saw razorbills, guillemots, Manx Shearwaters, raptors, gannets and seals. Our host for the evening (Young Jim) was so friendly, knowledgeable and clearly so passionate about all the wildlife and the work done to look after Skomer
