Just returned from spending 2 nights at Dale Hill on 18th and 19th May. I stayed with a group of 12 friends. We played 2 rounds on the Woosnam course and a round on the Old course, both very enjoyable and coming into top condition,with great views of the surrounding countryside. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly and the restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere , with tasty food.We also had 3 days of sunshine. Would definitely recommend.

What an amazing afternoon we had. We took 4 residents from Wadhurst Manor for afternoon tea. We were offered pastries, croissants or scones. Oscar looked after us so well and after serving teas and coffee for us he presented us with a selecton of all of them still warm. The lounge was beautiful with lovely views over the course. Thank you for such a lovely afternoon full of chatter and laughter.

Rooms: I complained about no slip mat in my shower which was extremely slippery to be told that they didn’t have any more so I had to use a spare towel on the floor of the shower Walkability: Not really walkable for a group in their 70’s this is ref the course that we were allowed to play

I played both courses today at Dale Hill. The Woosam is certainly my favourite of the two. The condition is superior and the layout longer in my opinion. As a venue Dale Hill is great. Good practice facilities and a hotel on site, it’s a top golf weekend destination. As you work your way round the Woosam course you get a lovely elevated view over the south of Sussex. Woosam said that he designed the course to test the pros but allow enjoyment for amateurs and it certainly enjoyable.
