I went for poke bowl (the veggie one is very fresh and not as mayo-filled as most poke bowls are). The acai bowl was also great value and deliciously refreshing. It's full of granola, nuts, fruits, and chia seeds. Finally, finished off with some really creamy almost-soft-served pistachio ice cream. Everything was a hit, and the owner was really friendly and welcoming to my energetic toddler. My toddler really enjoyed the food as well! As an aside, the owner is a child whisperer - he knew just the thing to keep my son entrained and eating during the meal. Honestly, the restaurant had a better atmosphere for my son than the horrible children event I'd accidentally dragged him to before (we went off peak when it was relatively quiet). Sharing acai, enjoying the great mix of pop music, and relaxing here was the perfect rescue for an otherwise awful afternoon.

Eating in this restaurant is indeed a unique, delicious and unforgettable experience. The freshness of the ingredients is remarkable. I'd never eaten Hawaiian prior to Da Shack, but now find myself making return trips to treat myself to pure joy. Thanks Da Shack for maintaining your excellent standard of service and intense flavours. You deserve more than 5 stars. I highly recommend this restaurant.
