    Friendly, professional and knowledgeable company. Well known by local boaters as the 'go to' mechanics. We had a catastrophic accident with a sunk log resulting in a sheered prop shaft coupling and damaged propeller. Dean and his team had us cruising again within 7 days. No mean feat when this involved the removal of damaged parts, ordering and fitting of replacements, and a further repair in a dry dock. All thanks to the dedicated approach of Dean, Mark and Sarah.

    Unreliable, careless and unprofessional. After a positive initial conversation, in which Dean agreed to do work on my boat, this has been a completely frustrating, lengthy and unpleasant experience. To give an example, after Dean finally made a visit to the boat I found the key in broad daylight on the roof afterwards, and he didn't call to say that he had been. I hope he takes better care of other customers.

    I called on these guys to help out with a fairly complicated hydraulics job on a narrow boat. They came, knew exactly what they were doing and got to work with it immediately. The quality of their work is very high, they don't just buy parts and make the job easy for them (and expensive for clients), they know how to use existing systems and make them work with what you already have. This is a sign of a very good engineer. The company that made the system wouldn't help with the repair, but they recommended DW as the best in the area.
