Still quite taken aback by the rudeness over the phone, called up to ask about availability and price of 2 sizes of gas bottle, basically got shouted at for a minute for inconveniencing the shopkeeper so much when he’s too busy. Why even answer the phone?

I purchased a clip on propane gas bottle from this company in july 2021 after I phoned and spoke to the owner. He was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. When he realised that I was phoning from East london which is far from his Store , he kindly arranged for me to collect it in East London. Since it was my first purchase for my new gas barbeque grill he also provided needed advice on the correct bottle I needed. I highly recommend this gas company.

It's a shame you can't give less than 1 star...the worst customer service you could possibly ask for. The owner is rude, doesn't know what he's selling and missells items at ridiculous prices. How the business (if you can call it that) is still going, I don't know.

Been trading ten years with Jansen, but the guy who worked there and delivered to our boat left. Dealing with the owner is a nightmare. Turned up to shop at 12. Not open. Eventually got him on the phone at 2pm, and he said he'd be open til 6. We arrived before 4, notice in windows saying ‘back in five mins’. We wait in pouring rain. 35 mins later he returns, denying he’s been away more than 5 mins. He lectures us on not buying more from him! As it’s past 4 and there’s no loading opposite we ask to borrow trolley to carry 30kg bottle. He claims not to own one (an outright lie). He won’t allow us to use the one on the pavement as it is for sale, he says. We pay a lot more here than we normally pay on the canal. Never again.

Be careful dealing with these people. They would not refund the deposit for 2 bottles I got from them (both in perfect condition). This after buying from them for 20 years. They always take the same deposit. Disgusting!
