  We had our kitchen fitted and the fitters were fantastic. However the paint has came off our fridge door and the kitchen had been in less than a year. I emailed them to let them know and didn't get a response so went into the shop when it was in Marshalswick and was told a new door was on order although they hadn't communicated this to me. This was November 2021 and I have never heard from them since despite me calling and emailing all with no response.

  I went to DJ Design for a new kitchen after collecting some other quotes from other companies. Not only were DJ were considerably better value, but I have to say that it was Julie's wonderfully friendly approach and caring nature that really hooked me in. She was lovely and brilliant from day one - I could really talk openly to her and she took all my concerns and wishes into consideration. Her design knowledge is superb. Despite restrictions because of the pandemic, the fit was able to go ahead and I can honestly say that it changed my life! Not only do I have the kitchen of my dreams, but the guys who worked in my house were faultless. Having them around all day was a joy and I always looked forward to seeing them and having a laugh. They were also incredibly professional and friendly. But special mention must be given to Glenn, who is so much more than a kitchen fitter. He is a master craftsman along with so many other talents. His work is astounding and absolutely perfect. Moreover, he is the kindest, gentlest, most unflappable man around who also liaises with the other tradesmen to ensure a seamless process. He will give you the room of your dreams because he really, really cares. I did have to source all the appliances myself which at times was a headache (I know some kitchen companies do this for you) but Julie talked me through exactly what I would need. I was a complete novice and needed a lot of help. And I'm glad to say that she was there with it whenever I called. She was always caring and even took personal circumstances and events into consideration when arranging the fit. Matthew was also very attentive and always ready to come over when needed, to drop something off or to check on progress. I'm so incredibly pleased that I went with DJ. One of the best decisions I ever made. They provided so much more than a fantastic, showstopper of a kitchen.. it was like therapy! Thank you so much Julie, Matt and Glenn, you've made this lady VERY happy!

  This is the second time (third room) we've had Julie from DJ Design come in to design for us. 11 years ago, they designed & fitted a new kitchen & a new master bedroom suite, which are both still looking fresh & going strong, thanks to high quality materials and absolutely excellent fitting. This year, after some renovation of the rest of the house, we wanted to fit out our study/spare bedroom with a fresh modern look. After a few months of searching stores & online for a variety of matching units that would give us plenty of storage, shelving & flexibility, I couldn't help feeling that every combination of units shortlisted was annoyingly compromised. It then occurred to me to call Julie just to ask if she did studies. Within a week, Julie had visited us to measure up the room and find out our requirements. We needed plenty of flexible storage mainly for use as a study, with doors covering most shelves to keep things clean & less cluttered and the ability to convert deep shelving cabinets for use as clothes hanging wardrobes, so the study could become a bedroom. We also wanted to add some interest & changes in depth so the room wouldn't seem to be made narrow. Just over a week later, Julie invited us back to their showroom to see her suggested designs where after a few tweaks, she helped us choosing the colours, fascias & door handles. A few weeks ago, the materials were delivered just before the weekend, ready for Colin to fit them starting the following Monday and completing by mid Wednesday. Once again, the design, fit & finish is excellent. Julie has a very good ear for listening to what you want, a great eye for design and combining these gave us a perfect solution and a lovely made to measure study. From first contact to completion of the work took just under 8 weeks. The study has been competed now for a few weeks and we're really happy with the outcome. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Julie & DJ Design as a great company to deal with for Kitchens, bedrooms and now, studies too! Next project is to refresh our lounge storage & TV units & I'll definitely be calling Julie again.

  Failed to deliver as arranged. Faulty damaged drawers and doors arrived along with missing g doors. No interest in solving issues at all. Owner response below is completely untrue and after multiple phone calls and chasing they still failed to rectify. The drawers and doors damaged ARRIVED damaged as delivered by owners son. Larder unit was taken away as had been made to completely wrong dimensions. Not to be trusted. Recommend avoiding.

  We had a kitchen 17 years ago with this lovely company.. Alas it was looking a bit dated, so we went and brought a new one from DJ designs.... Fresh and lovely. Great workmanship and so happy thank you so much. Highly recommended... Love the gooseberry colour Julie, great choicexx

  I purchased a two tone gloss kitchen from DJ Design in 2012. Within 3 years it began delaminating. After a lot of effort I managed to pin down Julie who arranged several replacement cupboard doors. The remaining panels and doors continued to delaminate but I was unable to get hold of Julie or anyone else in authority despite repeated phone calls, an email and several letters all of which were ignored. This business does not want to take responsibility for any after sales problems. If you do go with them ensure you use a credit card when making your purchase. It took me two and a half years to get my costs back via my credit card company. I will not be using them to replace my kitchen.

  Love my kitchen from DJ, Julie is extremely knowledgeable and Roland fitted it to perfection, even making useful tweaks as he went along. Very highly recommended.
