Despite the appearance of a small building, the museum is packed with original WWII items - trucks, rifles, clothing etc etc. Everything is hands on and you can sit in the various vehicles and pick up the guns etc. The three men working there on the day we visited were welcoming, friendly and extremely knowledgeable showing us how things work and encouraging picking things up. A superb place to visit and right next to the Castle. Good value for money.

Very disappointed! Your Web site & fb page says your open. We turn up after 10.30 to find it's shut !! Phoned your number on site & told yes its open. Explained we are sitting outside & it's not, she checked fb etc to make sure also. She was helpful & apologised. Would have been better to put on your website you wasn't opening. Very disappointed not just us but all the other visitors you have lost today! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Would like to add I've changed my star rating to 5 now. I had an pm from the owner & he's been so kind & feel he's really thought about his customers. So thank you very much for what you have done for us. Very appreciated.

We had great time at the D Day museum lots of interactive items, siren, vehicles, guns, helmets, back pack, plenty to do and see plus interesting stories from the men and women who experienced it at the time. Lots of friendly and informative staff all dressed in period clothing. Well worth a visit.
