I did a lot of research for this kit i won't lie i looked at swytch bike, on a marketing aspect, absolutely brilliant..on the sales side an absolute nightmare all my emails would take up to 2 days to get back to me (no phone access).on the other flip side 12 weeks waiting unless you paid more and you would get it quicker..sounds like they are the middle man to the suppliers/manufacturers.. totally put off by communication and customer service.. Following more searching i came across a guy who recommended Cytronex. Made a few phone calls to cytronex and they couldn't of been more helpful..right from the offset i had a hundred questions more so for my own piece of mind of what i wanted from the kit..all answered and very professional Not only do they have good support they build the kit in house. They talked me through the process even before committing to buy. Very easy buying process..bike kit arrived after 2 days from ordering..The kit was packaged exceptionally well..the instructions are all on a usb stick with step by step instructions... easy to fit as long as you follow instructions..took me about 40 mins and that was only because i took my time and read everything they send you. So, out for my first ride..WOW cant believe the assistance it gives you when needed...very very impressed from start to finish.. The battery was fully charged, i did 35 miles using settings 1-3 dependent on what i needed so it was on and of and believe me we did a few decent inclines were my mates were out of their seats(i wasnt) After the 35 mile ride i checked my battery and still had 56%...AMAZING.. just what i was looking for...cost me just over £1000, and if you look at the markets cytronex have nailed it absolutely over the moon Thank you cytronex

Cytronex provide a really helpful, prompt and accessible online after sales service with guided diagnostic checks and troubleshooting links. An after care service also available to book in if needed. UPDATE I even got a reply to my online query to Cytronex on Christmas Eve after the sensor was jolted out of position by a stick getting stuck in the chain after cycling through a park. After receiving advice by email the problem was quickly resolved by me on Christmas day - I slightly adjusted the sensor, all working. What customer care!

A great piece of kit. We have it fitted on both our tandems. With a 155 years between us it has meant we can still enjoy ou rides. You are always in control it doesn't decide when to give power. The 5 power level button gives a great set of power levels.

After struggling to cycle up hills on my Brompton while on holiday in Scotland my daughters recommended I get an electric bike. I tried out the new P lightweight Brompton electric but did not like the position of the battery. I was then recommended to Cytronex and they were able to convert my 14 year old Brompton. It has given me a new lease of life as I now enjoy cycling it even when it is windy. I can also go further and faster just using the lowest power. I hope to cycle 2500 miles on it this year. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to continue enjoying cycling into their later years.

I love the cannondale bike I bought at Cytronex. I did have a problem with one of the battery cells shutting down. However, the service I received was excellent and the cell was quickly replaced with a new one.

Cytronex fitted an early kit for me on a Cannondale bike and then C1 kits to both a full size Specialised bike and a 3 speed Brompton folding bike. They are a really helpful company and the C1 is a great product, which has benefited from further updates by Cytronex. Jake is very supportive with technical adjustments. The kit works really well on the Brompton and is far superior to Brompton's own ebike conversion. Both conversions work really well in hilly country and in the town. The Brompton is great fun in the hills in West Somerset! We recommend you visit the showroom and try one of their conversions!!

I recently had an old Scott aluminium frame mountain bike ‘electrified’ by Cytronex after several months of research and procrastination on my part. Having the conversion done in the winter meant that the job was done in a few days. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and the equipment is of a high quality. The system is very easy to use and it has increased the range of my trips. The battery had good capacity and recharges very quickly. The fact that the shop is local to me is an added bonus. Going up hills now gives me a big smile rather than a grimace !

Adding the Cytronex system, in November, to my much loved Brompton has added a whole new level of fun to my cycling. If I choose, it helps efficiently on hills, in a head wind and if I am tiring, but I can still cycle as much as I want unassisted. The system is easy to use, is quiet and the battery easily removed to store and recharge. It does not add too much extra weight to the bike. The shop were incredibly helpful throughout the process of buying and fitting with quick responses to questions and some efficient after sales support. I was able to test ride a stock Brompton to help me decide. I am looking forward to Spring and Summer when I am hoping to load up and set off for some touring.
