Cyrus was wonderful on the day, he managed to be everywhere at once but without anybody really noticing at all. He captured some very precious moments that were unexpected, as well as all of the key moments you want taken. He respected the fact that neither my husband or I are 'posers' and had some great ideas about how we could get some unique pictures that didn't make us feel silly. We picked Cyrus to be our photographer for our relaxed barn wedding based on a glowing recommendation, and couldn’t have been happier with our choice! From the outset he was professional, thorough and most importantly friendly, making us feel really comfortable with planning and actually being photographed on the day (no mean feat when you hate being photographed!). He listened to all of our ideas for what kind of photographs we wanted, made suggestions and even showed us some examples to really help us get the photos we wanted of our day. On the day itself Cyrus was calm, and blended seamlessly into the background to take lots of candid shots of everyone. That’s not to say he was invisible – in fact he went above and beyond to remove a HUGE hornet from the bridal prep cottage for which I’ll forever be grateful! The effort and passion which Cyrus puts in to his work really translated to some beautiful photographs. We have a lovely mixture of posed, candid and arty shots, all of them edited and finished to a professional standard. We can’t recommend Cyrus enough – he is genuinely passionate, honest and a great photographer.

Cyrus - simply Thank You Cyrus covered our younger son's wedding - first event of this sort for decades in our family. So many attendees praised his demeanour. He was not only charming but was clearly very good at what he did and added to the celebrations rather than be intrusive. I will personally not look elsewhere when seeking the services of a photographer in the future.

Cyrus and Shema came to photograph our mehndi. They did a great job - capturing all the fun and joy of the event in the photos. They also were great to work with - getting on well with all the family and guests (and even looking after one of the bridesmaids babies for a bit). They are also photographing our wedding and we are so glad we chose them for both events after seeing the mehndi photos.

The best decision we made was hiring Cyrus for our wedding. We did not want all the cinematic editing where the naturalness and reality of our special day would be lost, nor the ‘posed’ photographs that would not tell our story. When meeting Cyrus for the first time we explained what we wanted and he listened and advised us. Cyrus’ experience in the field, and knowledge of photography was evident and we were comfortable with him straight away. Cyrus even visited the venue and outdoor location with us prior to the events. His time, commitment, and passion in making every couple’s day perfect is something not every photographer possesses. The photography was fantastic and each shot captures our special moment with each other, with our family, and with our friends in all its form. The natural and spontaneous shots (many at times we were unaware of!) show all the love, happiness and varying emotions of our day. We did not hire a videographer for our wedding, but after seeing our finished photographs from Cyrus, we have no regrets because the photos celebrate our union in more ways than we expected.
