    Dear all, today it’s time to share my feelings. I have been living in Ubuntu for few month a place to regenerate, recharge and most of all practice yoga and meet new encounters. And here I met Catie, a unique yoga teacher ! Her sense of humour is out of the world, and it’s exquisitely cool to laught and be real and most of all to be seen for who you are. Her multidisciplinary experiences make her course completely flexible and original, we can jump from breathing, to the well then came back to the floor or sharing an exercise with someone else in the course, and having this sense of awareness and this possibility to navigate from one place to another with complete flow and support it’s very nice ! We have the possibility to open up and to become confident and joyful, it’s never the same time of course and it’s always very surprising and fun 🤩! I just want to tell you go with the flow and try on , to make you feel what is it to love yourself ! Thank you Catie for sharing your passions and expertise with us !

    I went to Bali last October and November (2022) to have a good time and also to improve my handstand, Bali is like a paradise speaking about quality of life, good food and sports, specially Canggu !! By chance I found a little paradise called Ubuntu Bali where I started to practice ashtanga yoga and also I gave a try to handstand lessons. OMG thanks God I did it. My coach was Catie! She is a super human, generous, with high knowledge and quality of teaching, with her I learnt and discovered about my body, how to work out proper drills and the best important thing, not to waste my time. (who is training handstand will know what I mean) Well, no more words, my handstand went in one month and a half from the earth to the moon like a rocket !!! I felt a huge improvement of my strength, flexibility and balance. Brilliant honestly !!! So so glad to have enjoyed her handstand lessons, I could not have been more pleased !!! I miss you Catie for sure I will enjoy some of your online lessons ❤️❤️ On the other hand Ubuntu is like a oasis in the middle of Canggu, I totally loved that place, open center with inspiring energy and breathtaking views, yoga space filled with peace and serenity, awesome ! This place is somewhere to grow not only your body but your mind. Hopefully I will come back again !

    Catie is one of my favourite teachers by far. I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years and teaching for 8. I have learnt so much from Catie’s fountain of knowledge from not only her hours of anatomy research and understanding, but also from her own physical exploration of her own yoga practice which deepens every time I see her. I regularly travel to be able to attend Catie’s workshops, even gone to a different country for her retreat and it’s always worth the time and effort because I learn something new to help my own practice as well as something to pass onto my students every time I’m in Catie’s presence.     I have been training with Cathie face-to-face for few months between 2-3 times a week handstands. I have seen a lot of improvement on my handstands but in my physical conditioning in general. She uses a diverse set of approaches and tools to work your flexibility and strength even if you are not training in a gym and do not have the equipment. She is calm and gives clear instructions, captures your strengths and use them to help build your confidence and encourages you into aspects you might feel not so confident with. She supports you but still pushes you to be independent and build your own practice alone. I really recommend her classes.

Catie has a methodological approach when teaching skills and you really feel you are getting something valuable out of the practises.
