I didn’t even rent a bike here but the chap was an absolute legend who helped out a fellow cyclist in need when my chain snapped with 40km to go. He helped us with tools and a spare part, even spent some time trying to tune the gears up again. He got me back on the road and all he asked was the cost of the chain link. It may be a long time before I’m back in that part of the country but I want him to know that he is a hero!

Back again a few years later - really recommend the app to aid with guidance on the day! Super friendly, efficient service, great bikes and good advice. Brilliant for exploring the area.... We did the Bike to Beach route with 3 adults, an 11 year old and a 9 year old, challenging in places but managed a good bike ride, a swim at Studland and a pint at the Bankes Arms - what you might call a modern triathlon... Original review below! -------- Very easy and efficient, booked online the day before and had our bikes ready and waiting at Norden station for a great day out. One thing to be aware of, we were given a map in a clear folder to help us navigate - the "ratings" for the different rides were actually on the other side of the leaflet folded away, so the "short" ride to Swanage catching the steam train back (2 hour ride) was actually rated a 13 year + difficulty and took us & kids nearly 4.5 hours! Really lovely trip for older kids though. Will possibly focus on an easier one next time...
