    Our extended family rented 3 cottages and stayed here for New Year , we were lucky enough to be in the newly renovated 3 bed , which has been finished to a lovely standard, fabulous log burner, modern kitchen, huge beds and our 4 legged friends were exceptionally well catered for , all dog friendly cottages should aspire to this , was perfect .

    I stayed here for half term just gone. I was very impressed with the comfort of the bed. Ive had major spine surgery last year and dont really sleep well. My first night in Cwm Connell i slept for 12 hours ! . So very impressed with the overall comfort and ergonomics of the apartment we stayed in.Being in the beautiful countryside and also having a hot tub and sauna available ( both kept v clean - im usually not a fan of hot tubs but the house rules etc work well so the facilities are very useable ) made this very theraputic for me and i came away from a week with "the kids " actually feeling well rested, calm and peaceful . 12 out 0f 10 from me - mostly for comfort, facilities and overall "warmth" of the whole place.

    If you like wild and windy walks amid stunning seaside landscapes, with mainly birds and sheep for company, and the occasional prehistoric archeology, this is the place for you. It's also a very comfortable place to stay, whatever the weather - with newly restored stone cottages furnished with wood burning stoves and modern kitchen appliances. We stayed in early July for a family reunion taking over several cottages and sharing meals and it couldn't have been lovelier. Good local food and restaurants are not far, though the country lanes take some getting used to for city drivers. Good place to get away from the shrill clamour of phone (not much signal) and email (though cottages have good wifi) and just marinate in blissful isolation.

    What a wonderful holiday we have just had at Cwm Connell! We stayed in the newly renovated Bron Y Felin and WOW, what a cottage! Immaculately finished to a very high standard, such a luxury feel to a country cottage. Top of the range appliances which made cooking a doddle and not a chore! Beautiful bathrooms, extra comfy beds and many small touches that just made it a dream! Not a single thing to fault, not only that but the setting is beautiful! So many gorgeous walks, views of the coast from the dog paddocks, and fantastic facilities! The owners are more than happy to help with any request no matter how big or small, and are super friendly and easy to talk to! We cannot wait to come back, and we don't say that often!
