This company has nothing but contempt for its customers. My experience with them has been the worst I've ever had with a broadcast equipment supplier. I bought two copies of a certain video monitor, and on arrival it was clear that one copy was either a fake or simply a massive cost-saving downgrade on build quality on the part of the manufacturer. I explained this to CVP, who asked me to return both copies so they could investigate. I was reticent to return the "correct" of the two monitors but agreed on their reassurances. After a long wait and many ignored emails, they eventually sent me two more monitors. Guess what? Of the two they sent me BOTH where now the poor quality version. And surprise, surprise, they'd lost or sold my one good copy. I say "my copy" because it was mine, my property, that I had paid for. CVP showed very little interest in my case and only when pushed offered a vague "discount on my next order" by way of apology. I pushed for clarification on what this discount was actually be, and was only told that if I forwarded them my basket number next time I wanted to make an order, they would discount it close to supply price. Of course, this is potentially quite a valuable discount, so when the time did come and I'd chosen a couple of items, I did indeed forward them the basket number. What was the discount they offered me? £50... On a £2500 basket. That's 2%. When I asked them why they were only offering this and going back on what they'd promised me previously, they told me they are bound by supplier agreements that prevent them from selling products at a lower rate. The maximum discount they could give me would be £100. What does this tell you? They were not even willing to pay for even this pathetically small "apology" out of their own pockets. Is the story over? No. As you can imagine, I was not about to make a large purchase with them at this point, so I chose some cheaper items and removed the bigger items from my basket. £100 voucher disappears. CVP tell me they are only willing to give me the £100 voucher on a £2500 basket. This means CVP have engineered a situation where accessing my £100 "apology" would cost ME £2400. Read that twice if you need to. Needless to say, this absolute clown outfit will never receive another penny from me.

These people are just amazing! Always very helpful. Items in stock and shipped quickly. Updates on shipping and prompt replies on the online chat. I've been ordering from CVP for quite a few years now, and I am yet to experience service which is not 100%. Well done!

I bought an Aputure Amaran 200X LED video light from CVP in Feb 2021, the sales process was pretty seamless even though I ordered the wrong light initially and they quickly cleared up a bit of confusion. Fast forward just under 2 years and I got given a second light which made me realise my original light was faulty. I contacted Aputure who pointed me back to CVP as the original seller (boy was I happy I didn't just buy it from eBay). Their service department then went through the process of contacting Aputure to confirm my warranty claim was valid (I'm still not sure if it had a 2 year warranty or not but they agreed to cover it under warranty) and the experience of using CVP was nothing short of first class at every point. They have an online service portal, accessed through their website, the response times from staff could be measured in minutes during office hours. They kept me up to date on without me needing to chase, organised the light to be repaired by Aputure after confirming the fault with the fan and had it shipped back to me. Honestly, I don't think I've ever experienced customer service like it during a repair job. I read the other reviews on here, and it's clear some people may have had other experiences, or maybe I just have rock-bottom expectations given the absolutely horrific experiences I've had with other retailers and manufacturers? But I'm going to go out of my way to purchase video gear from CVP in the future, because they treated me incredibly well, despite undoubtedly being one of their smallest customers.

Bought a light that turned out to be faulty. The rigmarole you have to get through with customer service is painfull. Every person I have spoken to gave me different information. To cut the long story short i was told the new light will be with me next day but it actually would be a week later.( I have cancelled the order) Person on the phone could not advise me about the choice of batteries for my light which actually turned out not to be suitable and will have to send them back too. Just disappointed.
