Do not buy fires from this shop. I bought a very expensive ribbon fire and 1) it was a nightmare and very expensive to install 2)the fire looks nothing like the brochure 3) it doesn’t generate enough heat to warm the room 4) the batteries need to be replaced EVERY MONTH

Despite reaching out to the highest-rated gas safe engineers and well-established fireplace suppliers in his area, he encountered a disappointing situation where his calls were not returned. It seemed as though his project was considered too small or too time-consuming for them to address. However, CVO has truly set the bar high. They not only returned his calls promptly but also demonstrated exceptional understanding of his situation. They provided valuable advice and even worked out a sensible returns policy in case any issues were to arise. Their attentive and responsive service was outstanding. How do I best describe a CVO fire experience, probably like an 1980’s Alfa Romeo, it looks the part, never works properly and it corrodes everywhere!…In other words expensive, but clearly not fit for purpose as an outdoor fire! After sales is appalling too, lack of decision making and wanting their Italian manufacturers to make the decisions, which takes weeks/ months, while in the meantime you have a big useless ornament in your garden that’s just an embarrassment if you have friends round, as it never works! As much use as a chocolate teapot!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Misold us a fire which they said would fit our application and then would not except return when it clearly did not fit. After arguing they offered to take fire back with 75% restocking charge !! The customer service manager Gavin is the most unhelpful person in this type of role I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with

Revised feedback: CVO fires were pretty hands on and proactive in addressing the issue. They have assured my first experience with them will not be repeated. Hence changing my review and updating 1 stars to 4. I have placed an order for ribbon fireplace and looking forward to receiving it. Previous review: The company website is good and has some interesting options for bioethanol fireplaces. However, I had a bad experience with one of their Sales Consultant Rob Dalton. He provided some information but was very rude and impatient to move to another customer when I asked about their ongoing deals.
