I had spent quite a bit of time trawling the internet, trying to find a pirate-themed wax seal stamp that wasn't super expensive. Although I had come across some which were reasonably priced, they were from the US so after delivery charge this and tax that, it ended up being over $50 for a wax seal stamp! And others I've seen online come from China which, of course, is not a problem. But I wanted something that was made in the UK. And then I came across Custom Wax 'N' Seals. Now I admit that when I first looked on their website, I was a bit surprised at the prices of these stamps. However after looking more into their website, the amount of work that it put into making these AND the fact that each one is made to order and not just lying around in a stock room ready to be picked up, the pricing made perfect and reasonable sense. There is so much choice when it comes to Custom Wax 'N' Seals and what they are capable of creating. If you have a look at their website, you'll see for yourself just how good and detailed their wax stamps are (the one of the cathedral is incredible!) I honestly didn't think such detailed designs were possible, but this company makes them so and in abundance too! So after searching, I came across two designs that the company had and decided on number 2, as it reminded me a lot of Jack Rackham's (AKA Calico Jack) jolly roger flag. I managed to get it on a 22mm stamp, which is a brilliant size I feel, but they do have bigger sizes for you to choose from, along with lots of other options such as a secret message atop of the stamp, the kind of wooden handle you'd like, any text or initials on the stamp and more. I decided to go for just the pirate design, as I'd already got a stamp with my initials on it. It didn't take long at all for the stamp to arrive (I purchased it on the 24th of August and it was sent out that very same day!) I had been away for a few days, and noticed it upon my return so it didn't taken long at all to arrive! Opened the package up and was really pleased with the beautiful presentation of everything, even the lovely thank you wax seal on the front! The wax seal was wrapped in lovely, blue paper and then inside a bag and included were also two sticks of wax (I believe) and even a few of the stamps pre-done, so that they could be stuck straight away onto the back of an envelope. Really happy with the service and level of quality from this company, and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for an individual, unique wax seal stamp. I will not hesitate to use Custom Wax 'N' Seals in the future... many thanks to you! :)
