We did the coasteering with Cumulus, first of all the staff are all really friendly, helpful and welcoming. They also helped us set up our camera on a chest strap. I sometimes find the instructors on this type of thing to be a bit arrogant, but these guys were certainly not, they are very professional and safety is taken very seriously but they make you feel very comfortable. The actual coasteering is great fun, I was a little apprehensive but it was brilliant. The only thing I would say is it would be better if it was a little bit longer but I appreciate why the sessions are the length of time they are, as it can be pretty exhausting. I would definitely recommend it if in the area.

Fantastic team building day at Cumulus Outdoors. After an intro and briefing we were placed in the safe hands of JLS and Rye who were both very friendly and knowledgeable. We first undertook some ice breaker tasks which were fun before moving into the air rifle and axe throwing range. The individual and team tasks were run safely and brought out the fun but competitive side of our group. The lunch provided was all prepared on-site. The quality and variety of the food was perfect for all the dietary requirements in our group. In the afternoon we ventured onto their brand new high-ropes course. The range of challenges here were brilliant. We took on the Jacob’s ladder climb, crate staking game, all aboard, pole climb and leap of faith to name some. Overall a cracking adventure fun day all within the lovely sea view setting of the Cumulus outdoor residential centre in Swanage.

We had a fantastic company away day at Cumulus Outdoors. The Cumulus team put on a full day of activities, including team building games, rifle shooting, axe throwing and high ropes. Instructors were friendly and supportive throughout and the whole day was extremely well organised. Great food and brilliant location. Would highly recommend!

We love going to Cumulus Outdoors Centre with our Year 5 children. They tailor the programme to suit our needs and the staff are welcoming and friendly. They supported us well throughout - from first booking to the end of our stay and re-booking for next year. The food is excellent and the addition of the new coffee machine for the adults is inspired! The children had a wonderful time learning about coastal geography as well as being more independent. The play areas both indoors and out, allowed the children to have freedom during the breaks in activities. The programme which was delivered by well-prepared staff was exactly what we were hoping for. It was well-planned and brought the geography from the classroom to life - a highlight was the seagulls eating the long shore drift demonstration! Highly recommended!
