Walked in to place a memorial in the Cumberland news. No staff, just a phone and a list of numbers to dial. Part way through the call I realise that it's going to be impossible to pay with cash, which is what I walked in with. The fella on the other end of the line then tells me that he'll call the office (where I'm at already) to get someone to come down and take payment. Lady arrives from upstairs and informs me that; get this, there is nobody on the premises "qualified" to take cash. Stunned, I left. Some way to treat customers.
