What a patient, calming and knowledgeable instructor. Nigel makes you feel at ease (especially if you are like me and prone to stress and feel anxious learning new things) and he works at your pace, even if that pace changes every lesson he knows how to adapt! I had some tough experiences from instructors before this and Nigel was a breath of fresh air helping me feel at ease and be able to be myself during the learning process. We worked together right through to the test and he got my my pass FIRST TIME. Thank you Nigel - for believing in me and helping me to believe in myself!

Being a transplant from the US, I was unsure about how difficult the driving test would be. Nigel was patient, very thorough but constructive in his critiques of my driving, and was all around a terrific instructor. Needless to say, I passed with flying colours on my first attempt. I highly recommend Nigel at Cullens Driving School for anyone looking to get their UK drivers license, but especially for any Americans who have a lifetime of habits that need tweaking for UK roads!
