I had a small problem with my most recent order and I was offered a timely replacement with absolutely no hassle.     Bought some prescription shades ages ago. Had to chase REPEATEDLY to find out what was happening — and still can’t get a response. I get some BS response to contact info@ which generates an auto-response of “high volume — so will take a while to get back to you.” Unless you’re receiving 5000 emails a day — and you have less than 2 people working on this part-time — you have absolutely no excuse to not respond in a timely manner (~48 hours max.) I will NEVER purchase glasses from you again. Total Shambles

    Magicians who can turn 300 quid into 650 in the blink of an eye. Came in for a couple of pairs of 150 glasses - one for far, one for near. Ended up with a 600 quid single pair of varifocals in the blink of an eye, 650 with eye test. The test itself was very good and very thorough. After the test though, it all got a little pear shaped. The assistant in the shop, very trendily, was about as disinterested and blasé as she could be in serving me. After getting a few pairs from downstairs it definitely felt like I was getting in her way from whatever she was doing on the laptop. After deciding I would try VFs on the promise I have 30 days to change my mind the price jumped very rapidly. Rubbish 300 ones - sure. But how about an upgrade to thinner? Yup. Then an upgrade to better VF lenses? Yup. Another jump. In a blink, including the eye test, the specs were a eye watering 650. Did I get a free magazine after walking out dazed and confused that they had been busily packing into bags around me? Nope, you guessed it. Have the glasses now. They lovely. 600 quid lovely? Not in the slightest.

    I visited on 11 February, needing help to pick some frames, as I don’t know what suits my face shape, skin tone etc. Alfie figured out the best weight, colour and size of frame for me, gave me a few different options for work/leisure and I left with two excellent options.     This is the best eye test experience I've had. The optometrist, Sam, was incredibly friendly, helpful and exceptionally competent. He really went above and beyond, conducting a very thorough test. When he spotted something potentially concerning at the back of my eye, he went out of his way to track down information from previous eye tests I'd had done elsewhere. I'll certainly be getting all eye tests done here in future.
