I recently tried Cubitts for the first time. I needed to have an eye test and get some glasses. The eye test was a real pleasure both from a professional and technical perspective and also on a personal level chit-chatting with the optometrist. Very efficient and thorough! I tried on a few pairs of glasses and both the optometrist and the other staff member was super helpful finding frames they recommended for my face shape, skin tone, hair colour etc. Opinions were honest and friendly, and much appreciated. My glasses were ready in two days for collection and I love them. Incredible service and a really nice experience. Would highly recommend!

My experience of this branch staff's service was poor. Bad organisation & staff need cultural competence training. I was put off by a staff member asking where I am "really from" and insisting that I disclose my country of origin. Then they conducted an ethnic analysis of my face and commented on my accent. All of these made me feel highly uncomfortable. Despite having a free eye test and discount for frames, I walked out.

I visited the store yesterday with my bent, dirty glasses and Mez fixed and cleaned them straight away, and was so friendly and considered when doing it. I was about to throw the glasses away but they are like brand new now. So stoked. Great service. Thanks Mez and team! :)
