I've got to say this was one of the most friendly, pleasant experiences at an opticians I have ever had - the staff were all lovely and helpful, bar none. However, after purchase I am very disappointed in the quality of the frames. They look OK, but the build quality is very poor and the fit is not great (I have the biggest size available but it is still a bit of a stretch). There is also some kind of material in the plastic coating that really irritates my face so I have had to basically stop wearing them now :( be careful!

Still so much better than the high street chains. Eye test was the best I have had in years. Optician very informative, thorough and took as much time as was needed. No 15 mins in and out targets here. Medi B was excellent. Thanks for caring about your customer. Eye health is so important and rushing eye tests to meet corporate targets is not ethical.

Had amazing help from Piers (Pierce?) today. I gave him some desired requirements for the shape I was after and he immediately pulled pairs that I loved, including a great ‘wild card’ option. It’s such a pleasure getting service from teams who know their stock so well! Only complaint is the store is *very* small, so all the customers were clambering over each other a bit. I imagine folks in wheelchairs or needing other physical aides might find the space challenging.

Came in to try glasses - great service. Took all required measurements. Then phoned to order with prescription. 10/10 service and delivery. Really impressed with quality of glasses and lenses. A lot better than other main stream opticians and at a good value price.
