We arranged for our beautiful boy Cat (yes that was his name) to be put to rest. We were so stressed that it was going to be so traumatic for him. It was the total opposite. CTVets arranged and sent out something to calm him down before the lovely Lucia came around. We spent a lovely last few hours with Cat knowing that he was very calm and seemed free from his pain. Lucia came and it was done with care and compassion with no stress for Cat at all. It all seemed so very peaceful, which makes it so much easier for us to deal with. Even the final memories are very sad but very nice knowing that Cat was put to rest in such calming peaceful way. Thank you Lucia and Thank you CTVets for all your kindness and care for Cat. Finding Stefano and CT Vets years ago was such a blessing. Trying to get my cats into a carrier and to the vets was always a total nightmare and caused so much anxiety even before any consultation. Having home veterinary visits is a life saver / changer! And even better is the quality of the team at CT Vets. Last night quite late I noticed Toshi the smallest of my two cats had a wound on the left of his neck. Considering Toshi doesn’t like cat carriers and definitely doesn’t like cars and every time I had to take him to the vet for checkups and vaccines he was going through a struggle, making me feel really bad and uncomfortable about the entire experience, which was stressing me and the cat, I really wasn’t prepared to put myself and Toshi through the stressful experience again. The following day on a Saturday just before the bank holidays as soon I had a chance I started looking for an emergency vet to try and take the cat to be checked. The few emergency Vet’s which came out like the Elizabeth St Clinic had such bad reviews that I thought I’d never put myself and my cat through any of that. And then like a miracle while I was scrolling through the search Ctvets Home Visit Vet came up. First of all I was impressed by the positive reviews all stating the same thing so I decided to give them a call. Stefano got back to me soon after and informed me he could visit my place to check Toshi on the same day, actually few hours after my call. You cannot imagine the relief on my end knowing I didn’t have to put Toshi through any of the stress previously mentioned knowing Stefano could visit us at home. As it turns out when Stefano visited us the issue was more complicated than expected and Toshi had to get the wound cleaned and stitched due to the size of the wound, but none of that was a problem for Stefano who did the surgery on the spot, sedating Toshi, giving him antibiotics, cleaning and stitching the wound. The entire experience was the least stressful me and my cat had to go through as everything was handled with the upmost care and knowing my cat hasn’t been crying all the journey to the vet and back home and actually didn’t cry at all is definitely a huge relief. I was most impressed by the care and willingness to do what needed to be done on the spot by Stefano who’s clearly a professional with many years of experience and I couldn’t be more thankful and happy to recommend him and Ctvets to anyone who needs a vet or a vet home visit. Once again thank you, you really saved my day.
