Visited today at 3.30pm. Took my boots to repair and was told they would take 20 mins and the shop closed at 4pm. No problem. Returned to the shop and the lady in front of me wanted to pay by debit card for £8 - she was told the amount was too low for payment by card. My bill was £15 and I said - am sure you will take a card for that amount? NO was the reply - completed my receipts for card payments today so only taking cash !! Why wasn't I informed of that when I left my boots with him - that I couldn't pay by card? Perhaps he thought I would say - Forget it - will take my business elsewhere. To be honest he came across as a grumpy old git. Tosspot !! WONT BE GOING BACK.

I needed heel replacement for a pair of leather heels, it was done within 3 minutes while I watched. Now the heels are better than when I bought them. For a next to nothing price as well :)

After three attempts to cut a simple door key that was not even close to fitting I gave up and will go back to place in tiptree where they are friendly and don't make you feel like your doing yourself a favour by going into the shop. Not even a "sorry about that" either times just a feeling you are putting him out asking to correct the problem so wouldn't recommend .
