This picture was taken in last summer time, just after the pandemic lockdown was lifted, the view of London's street life brings hopes to people, that life still exists going on. Thank you.

A fantastic library facility across multiple floors. The library itself has a lot of negatives- very few new books, feels run down, service can be slow. So why 5*? (1) Online reservations - Croydon is part of a wider network that allows you to reserve books from libraries across London, Surrey and Essex. It can take a while but they are delivered to the library you select. I rarely pick books from the shelves now instead searching and reserving 99% of the titles I read. (2) Free access to Press Reader - You can read online from hundreds of magazines and newspapers for free! Most UK papers (incl. Telegraph) and magazines that would cost £5 to buy all free! What is not to like. (3) The library itself has plenty of space and is quiet. As a resource available for free I can't see what not to like.
