They left a message to call back with no context. I called back, and because the caller gave no name reception don't bother to search pointless! I'm now supposed to wait on the possibility of another call happening.

I swear this place is corrupt 🤣 one of my friends went after an unalive attempt and the therapist straight up told her "I'm not surprised you tried to kill yourself, I'd of done the same" WHO SAYS THAT. she broke confidentiality by disclosing private into to the mum. We handed in a self discharge letter and also recorded the interaction of handing it over the desk. I was later referred and refused treatment however they placed me with the same woman my friend went to, I don't remember her name though. I have a right to refuse treatment however they near enough harassed me daily to talk. I don't know how many times I had to tell them to stop calling me and that I don't want to talk to them eventually someone on the higher team contacted me. I explained what happened. She went looking for the letter and it opened and investigation as the office staff had hidden it. They are supposed to declare all complaints. I was offered treatment by this person personally and I still declined. She seemed nice but after that, you can't trust them.

Croydon CAMHS refuse to give reasonable adjustments because their psychiatrist says it would be unfair on children without disabilities if they treated them differently. Take a minute to let that sink in.

Miss diagnosed my daughter on two occasions after waiting years for an appointment. Ignored all the signs and request from her schools. Didn’t help with self harm. No help at all. Had to go private in the end and finally got the correct diagnosis. Camhs then agreed with the private Psychologists diagnosis. A huge failure to children especially girls as they don’t meet there ridiculous box’s they want to put them in.

This is the reason our kids are going crazy. They are to quick to blame the parents. It's a disgrace. My son has got so much worse. So if your waiting for a miracle from them forget it. They should be shut down. There is no real help.
