Sadly, my experience with this organisation was disappointing. We were in discussion with them about adopting two kittens. Received a call from a lady and agreed on an appointment for a home check visit. Naturally, we were excited. Two days before the appointment the same person called and cancelled the home visit as, I quote 'another home has come up that is just closer to us' which, frankly, just sounded made up. I wonder, how close do you need to live to be successful? We live 18 minutes away from their registered location! They claim that they look for the most suitable home for the animals. How was the other home determined more suitable without even having visited ours? It certainly felt like there were other factors at play and this is not the behaviour I would expect from a reputable organisation.

These controlling, judgemental, deluded and lonely women are precisely the reason everyone is adopting from abroad. Like we did! :) Our beautiful fur baby is a very happy girl, yes we live near a ROAD - most people do, I think you'll find - and we are now looking to get another. It's horrificly sad that cats are languishing in the 'care' of these oddballs when they could be rehomed. They really need to be thoroughly investigated given some of the comments on here. Cats should not be left to people who are incapable of looking after them due to their own mental incapabilities/mental illness. And their 'charity' licence needs removing - they're anything but!

Probably my favourite charity shop in Croydon! I've bought so many lovely things here & the prices are great (especially when they do their £1 sales!). Very friendly staff too. Would recommend :)

We got two beautiful rescue kittens from here, and they were so helpful with advice, available on the phone to deal with any concerns we had settling them in, and even gave us a carry case and towels to take them home in. They were very conscientious with follow-up and they do a great job in rehoming animals.

I was very keen to rehome a cat this year but was shut down straight away once I gave my postcode. I live on a quiet road but was repeatedly told my road was too busy. I enquired about older/streetwise/indoor cats but was told no again. A real shame as I live in a large pet/child free house with a secluded garden and feel as though there was no effort to assess the suitability of my home...it's as if they don't actually want to rehome the poor animals there. :(
