I moved in to my flat 2019 was told the premises was smoke free, no pets allowed turn out to be a complete lies. Pet & smoking was left right and centre. It was worse when 5 tenants smokes cannabis. Crown Simmons was no helped with my heath situation that been affected by cannabis. However, the management have change, so hoping for positive solutions.

I received a phone call from crown Simmons, they had seen my post here. They said they would find out what was happening to solve my issues and get back to me. That was over a week ago and no improve, nothing solved and no follow up information. Very poor! I have been very patient due to covid-19, I understand things have had to be scaled back. This should not mean service should be neglected or ignored. I requested a key to side pad alock to garden when I discovered the other one had been changed. This was during lockdown and it would be nice to use garden. It is now August and still no key. My intercom system does not let me hear who is on the other end, still waiting for that to be fixed. There are other issues but both of these would come under health and safety. So should be addressed quicker.Housing association seems to have got worse since joining with others!

If I could give a zero star rating I would. We live near Esher, Surrey and sadly have the misfortune of having to deal with Crown Simmons who look after the communal area in the flats where we live. When I say ‘deal with’ it’s more of a question of emailing them and generally hearing nothing back. The only person who sometimes responds is Ellie but her colleagues never once have. When challenged on this my point if glazed over - there clearly is no excuse to not coming back to people. If these staff worked in my business I would attempt to train them properly but if no luck then just get rid. The occasional emails sent are normally to advise them of issues in the flats ie over flowing refuse area, lights out, people unfortunately dumping things in the hallway etc. At best we receive replies from said individual within a couple of days (or not at all). We pay an absolute fortune in maintenance costs (around £200 pm) and since we have been there for around four years we can’t recall them ever painting the hallway or cleaning the refuse area, they claim to have but this isn’t the case. The hallway of our flats can look a bit like an unloved council property but it’s in a lovely part of Esher and gives a very poor first impression to friends and guests. I have queried where my £200 per month goes (not to mention all the other residents’ paying the same) and again never get a genuine honest breakdown. I guess it pays for many people’s wages, their tea and coffees and bonuses for working so hard! Overall this company have pretty poor reviews and I can really see why. They’re very good at taking your money but offer nothing in return. From speaking to many other residents this view is generally shared amongst all. I wish I knew how I could take it further and refer their many inadequacies to help centre that looks after poor property management companies- will need more time to investigate. I’m sure it’s mainly the staffing that let’s them down- unfortunately I can’t think of one of them that is any good.
