I had a very expensive day with crown cars. I asked Jay how much it would cost to fit my speedo cable and filters for the carburettors To be told it would. 2 hour job with parts at £90 Only to turn up to be told it was £493 without telling me it was going to be £300 more Unbelievable I’ve had my car 38 years and felt royaly ripped off for something that should only take 2 hours if they jumped on it and could fix it within that time So warning to anyone who goes there Be cautious..

After a disastrous engine problem as a new owner of a 1973 TR6 I brought my car to Crown, who over the past 18 months have firstly rebuilt the engine followed by numerous other works. I was so impressed with the engine rebuild that I had, suspension, transmission, differential and brakes all rebuilt and improved. Their work has been faultless, prompt and on time and they have kept me informed throughout some expensive works. I would not hesitate to recommend this garage .

Have been using Crown Classics for more than 15 years. They were always great but recently have been unreliable and slow . Ie took 6 weeks to get my car in for an inspection and 5 weeks later I haven' t received a quote or follow up. Obviously no longer want my business - very disappointing having spent £000's with them over the years.

Have to disagree with the last review by Fraser Anderson to suggest the mechanic here is intimidating, I've been having my cars fixed by Jason at Crown Classic for years and have always found him to be absolutely great. Really reliable honest mechanic who knows his stuff and always charges a fair price. I wouldn't go anywhere else
