FAQ

What is the source of your pig feed and how do you ensure its quality?

Our pig feed is sourced from local suppliers who we have long-standing relationships with. We ensure the quality of our pig feed by regularly monitoring the ingredients and conducting tests to ensure they meet our high standards.

How do you ensure the welfare of your pigs, including their living conditions and access to veterinary care?

The welfare of our pigs is our top priority. We provide spacious living conditions and access to outdoor areas for exercise. Our pigs also have access to veterinary care whenever they need it. We work closely with our veterinarian to ensure that our pigs receive the best care possible.

Are your pigs treated with antibiotics or growth hormones? If so, how do you ensure the safety of the meat for human consumption?

We only use antibiotics and growth hormones when necessary to treat a specific illness or health condition. We strictly follow all regulations and guidelines set by the government to ensure the safety of our meat for human consumption. Our meat is regularly tested to ensure it is safe for consumption.

What measures do you have in place to prevent disease outbreaks in your pig farm?

We have strict biosecurity measures in place to prevent disease outbreaks in our pig farm. These measures include limiting access to our farm, regular cleaning and disinfection of our facilities, and closely monitoring the health of our pigs. We work closely with our veterinarian to develop and implement disease prevention plans.

How do you ensure the traceability of your pork products from farm to table?

We maintain detailed records of our pigs from birth to slaughter. Each pig is given a unique identification number that is used to track them throughout their entire life cycle. Our pork products are labeled with this identification number, making it easy for us to trace them back to their origin.

How good is he ? Don't know yet , lock down stopped work Pleasant guy though , will report back later 😁 UPDATE, I got a phone call that I didn't recognise, called back, the coat had just been finished! A lot quicker than I expected, a lot quicker (2 weeks), seems like I left it at the right time, it's not even Christmas yet 🎄🎄🎅, he even offered to have it dry cleaned for me (at my cost), the lining was the same lovely red and seems like very good quality, but that I wouldn't know ! Pleased with the result, but with COVID-19 still around, I haven't even worn it yet, at least its wearable now....
