    Horrible. These guys ie: owner and younger brother are rude, unhelpful and clearly have an attitude toward women. I only went in there when I had to until recently. Ask paper previous delivery people how they were treated and how bullying and abusive the owner is and you will not spend your money with these individuals. Recently I enquired why the paper delivery person had left and was argued with and told lies that contradicted each other. What I did not disclose was that I have known this 58 year old paper deliverer for many years and was shocked at the lies and character assassination of a man who has integrity and is decent. From recent conversation with customers it is clear that a variety of explanations have been given as to why he no longer works for them. These people should comply with employment law; at the very least they have a duty of care of which I pointed out. Unfortunately I got laughed at and even when I asked why he was laughing he laughed again and told more lies. I'm disgusted. They are abusing the good name of the previous owners who's name they continue to trade under. Shame on them

    Before i start - everything i am saying about this store is true and can be verified by people who have worked in headingley for MANY years. i volunteer in one of the many charity shops along otley road, and often come into this store often to buy a snack or a drink on my break for the last 7 months i have had nothing but abuse from the store keeper and i dont mean light jokes, i mean plain nastiness constantly refusing to give me my change saying i owe it him or telling me ``i know you live on burley road`` when whilst burley road is miles long - so good luck with that, (either way you simply dont say that kind of thing to customers) he even chats to all the locals in the area about me, making fun of me behind my back. ive still come in because its convenient and cheap and thought he was just having a laugh (albeit not an amusing one) thursday when i was in he was rude to me yet again! when i rung up an hour later to ask why he said it, he hung up. I popped in this morning and he told me to ``do one`` and i am barred. i have done nothing to deserve this, ive provided business for over 7 months to them, and ive even redirected customers in our shop looking for stationary to their shop at times. its one thing to have a laugh and a joke with customers, but there is a line you dont cross in terms of nastiness. i felt compelled i had to write this, because this is 2016 and nobody needs to be bulllied, even verbally - even if the person doing it thinks they are ``just having a laugh``. this shop has lost my business, and that of several friends of mine, they will lose quite a lot now over the weeks and months as a result. ps in case they are thinking of replying, i have several witnesses to this, and everything i have said is true. there are no ``two sides `` to this, i have done nothing at all to deserve this, i always said hello and goodbye (usually to a blank response), so their excuses that they are using now, that im rude, and knock stuff off the isles is not just petty, but shows how patheticly grasping at straws they are. which even if i was doing that, lets just say i was - (which i wasnt) that still isnt an excuse - you DO NOT SPEAK TO CUSTOMERS LIKE THAT! PERIOD! NO PERSON IN THE WORLD WOULD KEEP THEIR JOB WHEN TELLING A CUSTOMER TO DO ONE! vile, digusting shop owner attitude! avoid! and report any harrasement to the police! nobody deserve to be harrased! if i get any threats or harrasement back , i have the shopkeepers name, license plate number so if any harm comes to me or if i get more harrasement, it will be handed straight to the police! if they try to get this removed off google, i will have this put right up, as it is 100 per cent genuine and a reflection of my dealings with this shop for almost 8 months
