Our two girls stayed with Julie for a week in July. I was very nervous leaving them in someone else’s care but Julie soothed my worries and promised to send daily photos and updates, which she did. It was so nice to see our cats loving on her in the photos. It really set us at ease to see both looking calm and relaxed around her. When we collected them, Julie had prepared treat bags for each of the girls and pointed out one toy that was particularly loved during their time with her. That ball is still very much loved now! The cattery is immaculate and faces a lovely garden for the cats to look out on. It’s located away from the main road and is tucked away on the property. Julie shared she use to volunteer for a local cat rescue which happened to be the same one we adopted our girls from. We will definitely be using Crofton Cattery from now on! I highly recommend!

My cat Mabel stayed here for a long weekend and she’s now home. She’s seems happy to be home in her own garden. Crofton cattery is a lovely place to leave your 🐈⬛, I would definitely recommend it. It is extremely clean and all the cats and mine appeared happy and well cared for. Julie sent me photos of Mabel while we were away and an update of how she was getting on, which was reassuring. We left with a little bag of treats and toys. Thank you Julie for your kindness and love you showed to Mabel.

I left my cat here for five days and she seemed to settle very quickly. It was so nice to be sent some pictures of her while we were away! I felt that she was being well looked after and had no worries at all about her care. She even left with a little goodie bag which is such a lovely touch! Overall, all the little personal touches and extra effort made in getting to know your cat makes you feel that you are leaving your pet in safe hands. I would highly recommend crofton cattery and won't hesitate in sending my cat to stay here again when needed. Many thanks to Julie for talking good care of her.

Highly recommended. Julie clearly loves the cats in her care and our two, Star and Midnight, were thoroughly looked after when we were away. The photos we received via WhatsApp and the personalised bag of goodies at the end went above and beyond. Also, Julie didn’t mind me being fussy and asking to see the suites beforehand which was reassuring. We have used other catteries in Colchester before and Crofton Cattery is absolutely the best.
