I'm ill and I can't get an appointment to see my own doctor at my guys surgery in over 5 years . What do I actually pay national insurance for ? It's a disgrace . Receptionist has a bad attitude and doesn't care . I could be dying here . There is no way of getting an appointment

I've been with this practice nearly 2 years and only once managed to see a doctor, when going to receptionist only met with discourtacy, and told to ring 111 and try badger clinic. Phoning is a complete waste of time. Do we still have a national health?

An amazing Medical Centre, Friendly and helpful staff, Superb GPs & Nurses who are very professional and respectful. I highly recommend this practice. Patients need to be More understanding of how the process works, and not take any frustrations out on the staff who are there to support us.

Unfortunately this is my 92 year old mother's gp I've had text sent to me asking to make appointment for tests for her! Joke well would be if at all funny, the disastrous phone system everyone else has mentioned is true and so is the fact that twice in as many weeks the gp has not called as arranged! Thoroughly unprofessional, if you look inside its always empty apart from 3/4 people maybe, I can only describe it as shambolic

Croft Medical Centre - what is there to say? After calling at 08:00 on each of five days and hearing that their 'trained staff' would deal with my call 'in an efficient way' only to be told that they have no slots left or the call list is 'full' and no further options were available, not a lot. When you're in the Accident and Emergency Dept. in hospital and wondering why you're waiting hours because of 'these people who could have gone to their GP', then Croft in an example that they'll be extremely lucky to have done so. The booking systems that have been set up in places like Croft have not been designed to help the patients. It's obvious that they're strugglling to cope with patient numbers; but instead of taking this up the food chain they have decided to create a booking system where the patient is regimented into wasting his or her time in futile attempts to talk to (not actually see in person) a GP. However, on the bright side I was apologised to on each occasion so I passed these meaningless apologies on to my mum, who is the one with the health problem, and she has made a full recovery. Yes, I'm being cynical. Update - finally got through on day five and yet again, no slots are available. They should be given some sort of medal for a full set of five.
