One of the highly recommended activities during the summer in the United Kingdom is to pick your own fruits and vegetables. Crockford Bridge Farm located near Weybridge in Surrey is owned by a family where visitors can experience picking a variety of crops directly from the fields. The crops include strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, gooseberries, asparagus, and more. The strawberries were my favorite as they were sweet and juicy. The biggest strawberry discovered at the farm was as big as the size of my palm! It took me a few big bites to finish the entire strawberry.

Total rip off!! Avoid this place at any cost. We spent £40 entrance fee for the pumpkin festival and came back home utterly disappointed (and without a pumpkin!) The entrance fee gives you nothing but just access to a tiny area decorated with already picked pumpkins. Everything else there is with extra charge. It’s laughable how this so called family fun business have the cheeks to charge £10pp entry and then charge for everything else there! Never ever going again.

So disappointing. We spent £80 as a family on the pumpkin festival. Pretty much everything there was extra. We could barely fill an hour there. We actually laughed after the “aerial show” finished, it was embarrassing. Rammed full of people. Now looking at reviews from 2021, I can’t believe that this event is still going.

Great morning / afternoon can be spent fruit / veg picking. Be aware that due to weather conditions some of the crops may not be unavailable to pick and there’s no website notifications of this which can make it awkward difficult to pick enough to cover the booking charges. There’s also a great little cafe with more than one area for the kids to play - so nice and peaceful
