8 of us went last night for what felt like a vip chefs evening, 9 blissful courses of delicious and imaginative food. Flavours id certainly never tasted before. Outstanding! We had a brilliant meal in the Downstairs Dining Room. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and the staff were all brilliant. Easily one of the best dining experiences we have had locally for a long time. Can't wait to come back and try the Chef's Table!

Really quite stunning food. The cheese course melted my mind! We had the chefs table to ourselves and so got to try a few new items going onto the menu. Bold, brave and innovative, I can’t recommend enough.

Not cheap but fabulous. A Michelin recommended restaurant but almost certain to get a Michelin star soon as it compares well to the nearby Artichokes in Amersham. Very clean, friendly staff. A terrific choice for special occasions. My tip would certainly be to opt for the Chefs Table option. You not only see them preparing the food, listen to the head chef explain each course but get to chat to the head chef. Parking: Nearby car park is limited to about 20 cars (next to the library)
