Currently I'm halfway through a beginners dress making course with Liz Bleach, outstanding all the way from the excellent cake (V by the Sea I understand) to the proprietor Simons excellent teamaking ;-) Liz is an amazing tutor, the standard of her tuition is incredible, the course group is manageable at 6 people, enough to make us a little sociable team but not so many that she's spread too thinly. Shes very attentive and clearly an expert! The building and environment for doing the courses is really condusive to having a terrific learning experience, as it feels 'arts and crafts' but in a contemporary way and it's really easy to get to as well in the heart of Leigh on Sea. I suffer with migraines and doing a night course worried me a little, but they've clearly invested in some quality lighting as despite concentrating on small stitches for hours my eyes aren't tired at all at the end of the evening. Full marks all round and I can't wait to try other courses that they offer (which seem to be legion, everything from food to flowers!) Bravo Create98 team I'm glad to know you :-)

Christine and the team do an amazing job of putting together a full and varied programme. I’ve been to two food events over a few years (a vegan night, and a moroccan night) where you BYOB. Food quality has been amazing both times, with great demos and/or explanations behind the dishes. The atmosphere is great for dining events too - and the team don’t overbook it, lots of room for everyone without feeling like you’ve got people on top of you. Would definitely rebook for future food events.

Amazing evening we had with the Osbornes hosted by Create 98. The Osborne's is a family run business located on the shores of the Thames Estuary in South East Essex. We had the pleasure of spending the evening with them and others hearing about their family history, sharing their amazing food/dishes and hearing their insights into what it's like to be a fisherman in this country. Excited to hear your next venture of teaching fish prep and cooking is up and running! See you soon both :-)
