As a first time buyer I had absolutely no idea what to expect with a home survey. I rang a couple of places and Cre8 was of the lower price range (not the cheapest) but had the best reviews and now I know why. Will was honest when I explained our situation that the house wasn't old but hadn't been looked after by the Tennants living there. He advised the level 2 survey would be most appropriate. It was all arranged swiftly and for some reason the estate agent hadn't told him about the detached (and in a slightly inconspicuous place). Will then offered to go back a different day and assess this for us and did so. The report - what can I say! It is so detailed and as somebody who doesn't understand building terms Will calls you and gives you a verbal summary and explains everything thoroughly so that you understand. Then the full report followed within 3 days! I wouldn't hesitate to use Cre8 or Will again and would highly recommend. It is definitely worth paying a little extra for this outstanding service. I would just like to start by saying Will is the most down to earth and friendly person you will have the pleasure of meeting, he has recently competed a survey on me and my wife’s house to be (well hopefully) and I can’t fault his services, he came back to me a day after completing the survey with a verbal report and just a few days after that we received the survey report, the report itself was fantastic as it had all the details we could have ever wanted, possibly saving time and money in the future. Wills prices are fair and his service excellent! I had a professional builder come over to look at the property and give us a quote on the work that needs to be done on the property, in his own words (“In all my years of being on the job I’ve never came across such a detailed and proper survey”) Very happy! We will definitely be using Wills services in the future.

I recently had a full structural survey completed by CRE8 Project and Building Consultancy, and was extremely impressed with the prompt and comprehensive service Will provided. The survey was arranged and completed very shortly after initial contact, and I received regular updates from Will throughout the process. On the day of the survey, Will provided an overview of the key headline findings over the phone, giving context that was really helpful in advance of receiving the full report. The full survey report, received only a couple of days later, was extremely thorough and clearly explained, providing a comprehensive list of works needed, as well as recommended actions to ensure maintenance of the property in the longer-term. Will was extremely helpful throughout the process, further explaining the survey findings and answering any questions we had over the phone.
