A wonderful place to exhibit, and a fantastic place to visit, Amazing artwork on view which changes each month, Run by Craven Arts an organisation made up of local artists in the Craven area. The listed building hosts a permanent gallery, classes, artists studios, music studio and much more. Definitely worth putting on you list of places to see if you are visiting Skipton.

Craven Arts is an artist led organisation formed by a group of highly committed and experienced artists who live and work in the Craven area. In December 2022 they unveiled this beautifully restored old school building with an inaugural art exhibition of their work. In addition to regular exhibitions there are a number of Craven artists already in residence working in specially designed, purpose-built studios. There is also an exciting collection of art and craft classes running that members of the public can sign up for. The building also offers a community hall and a meeting room for hire as well as music rooms specifically for young people to develop their musical skills. If you like art and you’re planning a trip to Skipton then do pop down Otley Street to Craven Arts House to see the truly wonderful art on display and meet the in-house artists working in their studios.
