FAQ

What is your experience and training in craniosacral therapy?

We are a reputable educational trust that specializes in providing comprehensive training and education in craniosacral therapy. Our instructors have years of experience and are highly trained in this field.

How does craniosacral therapy differ from other types of manual therapy?

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, non-invasive form of manual therapy that focuses on the craniosacral system, which includes the bones, soft tissues, and fluids that surround the brain and spinal cord. It differs from other forms of manual therapy in its emphasis on the subtle rhythms and movements of the craniosacral system, and its ability to help release restrictions and tensions in this system to promote healing.

Can craniosacral therapy be helpful for my specific condition or symptoms?

Craniosacral therapy has been shown to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions, including chronic pain, headaches, anxiety, depression, and many others. However, the specific benefits of this therapy will depend on your individual needs and condition. We recommend consulting with one of our practitioners to determine whether craniosacral therapy is right for you.

How many sessions will I need and what can I expect during a typical session?

The number of sessions needed will depend on your individual needs and condition. During a typical session, you can expect to lie down fully clothed on a massage table while the practitioner uses light touch to assess and treat your craniosacral system. Sessions typically last between 45 and 60 minutes.

What is your approach to integrating craniosacral therapy with other treatments or therapies I may be receiving?

We believe in a holistic approach to healthcare, and we encourage our clients to work with their healthcare providers to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that incorporates craniosacral therapy as well as other treatments and therapies. Our practitioners are trained to work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care.

I trained with CTET a few years ago. I found the tutors skilled and knowlegable. It has enabled me to set up my own practice with local people supporting and treating them from birth to their last days. The tutors all work in the field of BDCST and bring their hands on practical experiences as well as the theoretical teaching to class. Classes are fun , interesting, sometimes still and always inspiring .

This Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Practitioner training course is a thorough and deep dive into a vast body of work. As an experienced Osteopath I was apprehensive in the beginning but have found the depth of the knowledge and level of tutor support to be excellent. It has been transformative to my practice as an Osteopath and in expanding my approach as a Biodynamic practitioner. Huge thanks to an excellent team.

My experience of studying and graduating at CTET two year foundation course is positive. Teachers, Tutors and assistants are professional, well informed and supportive. The course curriculum includes working at the student clinic, this gave me the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and to learn from a variety of experienced practitioners. After graduation I have attended several post development courses which supported me in my development as an indipendent practitioner. I frequently collaborate by assisting on a number of seminars and by supporting the students clinic. These more recents experiences have enriched my practice and understanding of the work. CTET continues to be a source of inspiration to the work I do. The venue is spacious, beautiful and easy to reach.
