I don't recommend this kennel! Upon arrival, the kennel had no social media to stay in contact and send photos of the dogs. that’s not my biggest issue, on collecting of my dog, there was no option to pay via card, only cash- which is odd due to the fact it is a large amount of money. The man had a horrible attitude, immediately getting hostile and shouting because he had had another issue with it in that morning, and then took it out on me and my daughter with his unprofessional attitude. The lady helping, bless her, was very kind and helpful, offering to do a phone transfer for the money and attempting to diffuse the situation. On calling my husband to sort out the transfer, he continues yelling and being very disrespectful, complaining about people wanting to pay by card- beyond unprofessional behaviour. He proceeds to shout at me when I ask him to stop as I was on the phone, and then waiting for the transfer to go through, sarcastically goes “thanks for this by the way”. disgraceful attitude towards a customer and very unprofessional behaviour. When the transfer goes through and I get to see my dog, he goes “thanks for this, after taking care of your dog for a week you treat us like this so don’t come back here again”. I had no plans on returning due to his utter disrespect he showed and his tantrum he threw, and when I tell him I was going to leave a negative review, he sarcastically goes “oh nooo not a bad review please don’t!” very unprofessional and disgusting attitude. Bless the lady for having to put up with him and his childish outbursts, but will not be returning again.

Anne and Reg are always welcoming and look after my dog Bailey 🐕 very well. They have also managed to accommodate short notice requests and my dog is always happy to be there. Cranfield Kennels are our default go to when we need the dog to be looked after.

Can't really give 5 stars as I was only taking a friend to collect a dog from their rehoming section. However what I saw and heard leaves me comfortable leaving 4 stars - had I been the person adopting the dog I could give a more complete review and probably 5 stars

I left my two dogs here 28-30th January 2022. They are a Chihuahua and a Cairn Terrier. I asked for them to share a kennel as they get along well. When i picked them up they were happy to see me, clean and tidy, and clearly had been eating ok. The lady in charge, Anne, was very friendly. When we took them home they very quickly and seamlessly got back into their routine. We are very happy with the service provided and will use them again. Recommended.
