Can't even pick up the phone after waiting over an hour to book an appointment. This is getting ridiculous.

Absolutely shocking. No routine or emergency appointments as the 'highly trained' receptionists make the triage. If you are in line for a telephone consultation, you need to be at home for the whole day waiting and if you can't answer the phone because you went to the toilet, you are being taken off the list. They are quite proud of this, too.

Services by phone and at reception are terrible. Thats the most polite thing I could say about this GP. (No comment about doctors). If you are lukcy enough, avoid them. And yes, if you want to experience English passive aggressive behaviour at its best, please do visit them regularly! :)

Been coming to this practice since i was a child but in the last 3-4 years the service has gone extremely downhill, it’s is near on impossible to speak to let alone see a doctor, most times the receptionists are unhelpful and often rude - i’m sure they’re dealing with a lot of complaints and unhappy patients but if the practice was run better then surely the receptionists would have more time to work on their customer service skills. During covid 19 I had an issue and required an emergency operation, after this I needed to be seen daily at the surgery by the nurses (could not fault the nurses they are all kind, understanding, gentle and caring) a few weeks later I felt the issue had developed into something else which would require another operation I rang up to speak to a doctor who informed me, without seeing me that the issue was not what I thought it was so I asked to be referred privately to which I was told I could be but it was unnecessary as I didn’t need anything done, I explained that’s fine but I’d like the peace of mind, I was referred, saw a private consultant and within 5 minutes of explaining my symptoms and a physical examination it was confirmed I did require a second operation. Thankfully I was in a position to go privately however some people aren’t, so it worries me that had this not been the case for me this would have been an ongoing case I would have had to fight. The option to send in a complaint to the surgery has been temporarily removed from the website so it’s not even possible to contact the surgery about any issues you have, i’m assuming looking at these reviews that they were inundated with complaints and couldn’t deal with them all.

Previously I've been treated very poorly over the last say 3 or 4 years. Today I had a breakthrough with a new and very good doctor. She looked me in eye while I explained my issues. She listened and she acted responsibly. The first time in years I've had a genuine heartfelt experience with a doctor. If you read this it's Liam and I hope to see you again when I need you. Thank you so much.

A very dangerous GP practice, I wouldn't recommend for anyone or their loved ones to use it, very dishonest GPs, one male GP constantly dismisses anything you say, he constantly interrupts and speaks over you even when all you are doing is trying to explain a problem or answer the questions he asks. Multiple doctors at the surgery discriminate against people with mental health issues, if you have anxiety even if it's just mild every physical promblem you have is due to your anxiety which prevents you from getting the treatment you need. Please for your own health and safety stay away from the practice.

What is the point in having receptionist??? I was first in the queue and still the phone was ringing for half an hour! I thought maybe my call got lost, so I hung up and tried phoning again and now I am 7th in the queue! Trying to book a doctors appointment for my child seems impossible with this gp!

Both my wife and I have had recent medical problems. I was diagnosed over the phone which was spot on. Medication obtained same day. Referred for x-ray. Phone call from hospital same day for appointment following day. Contacted by GP four days later with result. My wife phoned am and was asked to attend surgery. Diagnosed and medication obtained same day. Contacted by surgery five days later to make sure everything was ok. Brilliant service.

This surgery regularly missed or simply cancelled prescriptions without informing us, meaning my infant son went without required prescriptions. They also missed telephone appointments/call backs, again leading to patient care suffering. A number of issues were put into a complaint letter to the practice manager, to which out of the 7 discrepancies, only 2 were addressed/acknowledged. Once an appeal to higher NHS powers was lodged, we finally got the care expected by the surgery, but it should not take this stress, patient neglect and 2 appeals for this to happen.
