Steve arranged to be with me between 9-10am. Last minute, changed it to 12pm. 1pm still not arrived so rang so ask what was happening. He told me he was stuck in traffic and did even not apologise for a) being an hour late and b) not letting me know he would be an hour and a half late. When I said very politely that it would have been courteous to send me a message to let me know he was going to be so late, he accepted no responsibility whatsoever and was defensive and rude. Needless to say, I cancelled the job. Steer very clear of this man at all costs.

I strongly do not recommend Steve. Few months after he finished the job (flat roof repair), I noticed the gutter had an improper slope across the full length resulting in a standing water. I have tried contacting him on many occasions. Initially, he promised to come and have a look but later made many dubious excuses and eventually just stopped responding (few times he even did hang up when he accidentally answered the phone). A waste of time and money.
