Had a bifold installed. The glass inside has been left with smear marks so cannot be cleaned and today the door won’t lock. Only after 1 week!! Ive called the office twice and no reply. Quite disappointed to be honest given this is a premium priced product. Service: Window installation

Original rating was 4 stars! Now two, based on update below! On the two hottest days of this year, I had new windows installed by Tony & Lewis, who despite the weather, worked really hard in difficult conditions. I’ve been pleased with the response from Amy who came and did the initial review of what I wanted a few months ago, to the after sales I’ve also experienced. UPDATE, Unfortunately, I’ve had a problem with one of the sealed units in my kitchen. The 6th attempt last week looked okay when installed but as soon as the sun is behind it, the fingerprints on the ‘inside’ of the sealed unit just stares you in the face! I’ve been told that this happens within the manufacture stage from their Supplier. While CR Windows have tried to replace the units, I am now at the end of tether, and now even my calls are not returned! Apparently FENSA UK, their trade body says they don’t even need to replace the windows unless you can see the marks at 3metres! Why would someone spend thousands of pounds on new windows and be expected to live with them like this? A couple of the replacements have had scratches but mostly great big handprints right in the middle of the glass. In fact, I’m not convinced situation is being taken seriously and I should just put up with it! Friends and family have had windows fitted by other suppliers and not had this issue. Very disappointed.

I was considering to use CR windows to get a new front door and had a consultation booked in. However, I received a prompt quote from Anglian that I accepted. I informed Tony at CR windows who I had been in contact with that I would no longer need the consultation and thanked him for his time and apologised for not proceeding. The reply I received via email was ‘Lol ok’. Not very professional at all and not a good representation of the business. I would not use this company in the future.

I took a long time choosing a Company to replace some end-of-life French Doors in Redland Bristol. They were replaced with white Aluminium Doors and I am very pleased. I was impressed with Peter the Salesman, the Surveyor, Amy and the Fitters. It all went well, on time, couldn't have been better and I'm delighted with the end result. Thank you. Sales reps promises were not kept by CR Windows upon installation, work was not up to standard anyone would expect from such a highly rated company, fitters worked very late into the evening on one occasion during final days of contract when asked by us could they come back and finish installing the following day was told if don't finish it now then won't be back again very large pieces of plastic used to fix the large gaps around the installed UPVC doors and windows not as was promised by the sales rep at time of quote when we stated we did not want this to happen if we accepted there quote, after sales were not really interested in solving issues despite our best efforts over many months to find an amicable solution. Have to say the windows and conservatory doors build quality was first class to be fair but would I recommend cr windows based on the whole experience sadly No we felt once they had our money customer service ended. Based on recent reviews though they look as they have now sorted out and these types of issues and got there long held reputation back on track to there original high standards.
